Welcome to Frieth Village Society, a community dedicated to preserving the rich history and natural beauty of our village and its surrounding countryside. We organise fundraising and social events that support the maintenance and enhancement of our village and its amenities.

We are pleased to host an Introduction to Wine Tasting evening with wine experts Thirty-Fifty who plan to provide just the right balance of education and entertainment.
You’ll pick up tips and tricks of the trade, learn how to taste wine and spot quality as well as enjoy some fun wine challenges and a table quiz to show off new found knowledge!
An optional quality cheese board for 2 to share with carefully selected cheese to pair with the 5 wines being served can be ordered alongside your tickets.
Tickets on sale until end of April so please buy early to avoid disappointment.

Location: Frieth Village Hall
Take a tour around our beautiful village and go behind the gates of a selection of houses to view the gardens. Home owners participating are keen gardeners and there are some spectacular views to behold. Tea and cake will be avilable at the Village Hall throughout the afternoon.

Pop in to the Village Hall at anytime during this informal afternoon event to meet our new Vicar. Andy has been appointed Priest in charge of Hambleden Valley Group of Churches and along with the team supporting St. John the Evangelist he'd love the chance to meet everyone who lives, works or attends school in the village.
As if you needed more encouragement, an abundance of tea , coffee and cakes will be available.

Come along and join the fun at our annual village fete.
Throw a welly, smash some china, have an ice cream or a beer!
The 'Tipsy Cow' will be open as usual serving beer, wine and soft drinks alongside our big BBQ with chef patron Carlos from our very own Yew Tree!
Dog show, games, live music, stalls and crafts - something for everyone to enjoy!

Our Editorial team work incredibly hard to produce the Frieth Village Newsletter and, along with a dedicated team of distribution volunteers, ensure a copy is delivered to all residential addresses in the village and FVS members outside of the village boundary.
